My love for canal boats began quite unexpectedly. Growing up in Birmingham, I was always surrounded by the gentle hum of life along the waterways, with narrowboats gliding past like quiet storytellers of a bygone era. They were a familiar sight, but it wasn’t until 1999—when I took a job selling canal boat holidays—that I truly discovered the passion and community behind this way of life.

I quickly became immersed in the world of canal boats, learning about their craftsmanship, the unique lifestyle they offered, and the people who poured their hearts into them. It wasn’t long before I transitioned into designing and selling bespoke new-build boats for one of the most prestigious builders in the country. That role allowed me to combine my love for design, customer service, and the heritage of narrowboating—turning dreams into floating homes.
For over two decades, I’ve been at the forefront of narrowboat sales, helping people find or create the perfect vessel for their adventures on the water. Whether it’s a first-time buyer looking to embrace a slower pace of life or an experienced boater seeking the next perfect fit, I take pride in guiding each journey with expertise and genuine passion.
